The fruits are large, weighing from 280 to 450 grams, round in shape, with smooth bright red skin. The flesh is juicy and meaty, with a taste balanced in sugar and acid content. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption, canning, sauces, and freezing.
The abbreviation VFN in the name indicates resistance to Verticillium wilt and Fusarium wilt (race 1), as well as to root-knot nematode. In addition, the variety shows tolerance to Alternaria stem canker and Stemphylium leaf spot.
