The hybrid Rubino F1 is a vigorous determinate plant with bright red plum-shaped fruits weighing 130–150 g. The ripening period is 80–85 days. The variety possesses resistance to cracking, shedding, Verticillium wilt, Fusarium wilt, tobacco mosaic virus, and tomato yellow leaf curl virus.

The cherry tomato Rubino is an indeterminate plant 1.5–2.5 m tall, forming small red round-shaped fruits. Fruiting begins in July. The variety Rubino Top is classified as a cherry tomato and is used in scientific research as a model crop.
