Eggplant Burpee Hybrid is an F1 hybrid with a fruit ripening period of about 80 days. The bush height reaches 90–120 cm; the plant is vigorous and semi-spreading. The fruits have an elongated-oval shape, glossy dark purple skin, and medium size.
Due to the significant height of the bush and fruit weight, the plants require the installation of supports. The hybrid possesses resistance to tobacco mosaic virus and tolerates drought conditions. The position of the fruits on the plant is characterized as high relative to the soil surface.
