The variety belongs to culinary type B, is slightly floury and does not change color when boiled. Dry matter content is about 18.6%. Tubers have a long dormancy period, which requires pre-warming and sprouting of seed material before planting.
The plant is characterized by rapid emergence and good foliage development, but is sensitive to nitrogen fertilizers. The variety is resistant to potato cyst nematode and wart, and has medium resistance to common scab. It is susceptible to late blight of leaves and potato virus Y, but the tubers possess high tolerance to necrosis.
