The variety was obtained by crossing lines ARD 89-01402 and ARD 88-00883. Plants reach a height of approximately 51 cm and are characterized by medium to dense foliage at the end of the growing season. The tubers have an oval shape, sometimes irregular, with shallow eyes. The orange-yellow flesh contains about 23.6% dry matter.
The variety is characterized as floury and is not intended for long-term storage. It shows good resistance to late blight and soft rot (Erwinia), however, it is susceptible to potato virus Y, common scab, potato wart, and golden potato cyst nematode. When growing, it is recommended to avoid heavy soils and ensure protection from stress conditions.
