Arielle is an early-maturing table variety. The period from planting to harvest is 65–70 days; the first digging for young potatoes is possible 45 days after emergence. The plant is characterized by high intensity of development at the initial stage. Varieties Nicola and AR 73-21-27 were used as parent forms.
Tubers have an oval or oval-rounded shape, large size, light-yellow skin, and light-yellow or cream flesh. Eyes are small and superficial. The culinary type is predominantly firm (AB); the flesh does not darken after boiling. The variety is suitable for frying, baking, making mashed potatoes, and French fries.
The variety possesses resistance to potato wart, golden potato cyst nematode, scab, blackleg, and rots. Due to early maturity, it often manages to form a yield before the mass development of late blight. It has good keeping quality, but has a relatively short dormancy period, which requires control of storage conditions.
