The variety was obtained as a result of crossing the «Saskia» and «Ora» varieties in Groß Lüsewitz. In potato breeding, it was used as a source of high taste qualities for creating subsequent hybrids.
The tubers of the variety have a round or oval shape and are distinguished by yellow skin and yellow flesh. Depending on the classification and growing conditions, the variety is classified as a table potato with early or late maturity characteristics.
Currently, the variety is practically not used in wide commercial circulation and is primarily maintained in potato genetic resource collections.
