The variety belongs to the 'Sarpo' series and was bred by crossing with wild potato species. The plant forms a vigorous, fairly compact bush, which is less prone to lodging than other varieties in the series. Abundant foliage helps suppress weed growth in the field.
Tubers have an elongated-oval shape, reddish skin, and cream flesh. The average tuber weight is 80–150 g. The starch content varies from 15% to 18%, and the dry matter content is about 23%. The flesh texture is floury; the variety is well-suited for mashing and baking.
The variety possesses outstanding resistance to late blight of foliage and tubers, as well as to PVY and PVX viruses. It has a long natural dormancy period, which ensures excellent keeping quality during storage. Due to its disease resistance, the variety is suitable for organic farming.
