The variety forms large tubers with yellow skin, white flesh, and shallow eyes. With a dry matter content of about 20.9%, it belongs to culinary type B, which makes it suitable for both fresh consumption and the production of french fries.
The plant is resistant to potato wart and potato cyst nematode, and has moderate resistance to late blight and common scab. The variety tolerates drought and heat well, is capable of growing in difficult soils, has a moderately long dormancy period, and is sensitive to metribuzin.
The origin of the variety is linked to the crossing of parent forms Aromata and Bafana.
