The variety was obtained by crossing the Morene and Arnika varieties. The plant is of an intermediate type, semi-upright, with stems of medium thickness and white flowers. The light sprout is egg-shaped with red-violet coloration at the base.
Tubers have smooth yellow skin and light yellow flesh; eyes are superficial. The starch content is approximately 11.6%, dry matter — 17.1%. The variety is suitable for soups and frying, and possesses good keeping quality.
The variety is characterized by high yield with a marketable tuber output of approximately 93%. It is resistant to potato cyst nematode and has medium resistance to common scab and viral diseases.
