The variety belongs to the category of local heirloom varieties. It is assumed that it may have been introduced to Sweden around 1720, and based on its morphological characteristics, such as deep eyes and irregular surface, it may originate from the subspecies Andigena.
The tubers of the variety are medium to large in size and have a flattened-round shape. The skin is light, buff-colored, and the flesh is pale yellow. The variety is considered to be of universal use.
