The plant is large, tall, with a semi-erect or spreading stem type. Tubers are round in shape, characterized by light yellow skin and pale yellow flesh. The culinary type of the variety belongs to category B, characterized by slight sloughing when boiled.
The variety has medium keeping quality and a short tuber dormancy period. A high starch content (about 110% relative to control varieties) makes it suitable for starch production.
The variety is moderately resistant to late blight of leaves and potato virus Y, resistant to potato virus A. It shows susceptibility to late blight of tubers, potato virus X, and the potato cyst nematode (RO 1-4).
