The variety is an early-maturing table potato, obtained by crossing the varieties Marabel and AR 88-156. The plant has a semi-erect bush type with a medium degree of anthocyanin coloration of the stems and a height of about 43.6 cm.
The tubers have a long-oval shape, smooth yellow skin, and small superficial eyes. The flesh is colored from medium to dark yellow. The variety belongs to a culinary type that does not disintegrate much when boiled.
The variety possesses resistance to potato wart (pathotype 1), nematodes (Ro1 and Ro4), and common scab. Susceptibility to late blight of leaves, tubers, and rhizoctoniosis is evaluated as low or medium. It is distinguished by a long dormancy period of the tubers.
