The variety belongs to the group of starch or industrial potato varieties. Plants form large, well-developed bushes and have the ability to develop longer roots under phosphorus deficiency conditions.
Tubers have yellow skin and light yellow flesh, a smooth surface and shallow eyes. The starch content in the tubers reaches high values; in a number of studies, a level of 28.8% was recorded.
The variety possesses increased resistance to Phytophthora infestans compared to a number of other starch varieties. In production documentation, it may appear under the breeding number STB 3691.
