Table variety intended for the markets of Southern Europe and Mediterranean countries. Genetic material from the wild species Solanum vernei was used in the breeding process.
The variety possesses resistance to the potato cyst nematode Globodera pallida pathotypes Pa1, Pa2, Pa3 due to the presence of the Grp1 resistance locus. Scientific data indicate that this resistance has been overcome by virulent pest populations. In March 2022, the variety was removed from the official French catalogue.
