Jämtlands vit is a historical local variety that formed in the Jämtland region of Sweden. The plant belongs to the landrace category and is adapted to the conditions of the country's northern regions, in particular Norrland.
Morphologically, the variety is characterized by the presence of white tuber skin. Due to its historical status, detailed agronomic indicators, such as maturity group, disease resistance, and exact yield, are absent in documentary sources.
