The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Diana and Innovator. The plant is of the stem type with an upright habit and white flowers. The tubers have an elongated shape, a rough light-brown Russet-type skin, and cream-colored flesh with shallow eyes.
The variety has high resistance to tuber late blight, scab, blackleg, rhizoctonia, nematodes, and potato wart, while exhibiting susceptibility to the necrotizing strain PVYntn. It is characterized by good keeping quality and low flesh darkening after boiling and in the raw state.
The primary purpose is processing into French fries and dehydrated potato products. The variety is able to maintain frying quality even after cold storage at a temperature of 4°C. When grown, the variety is demanding regarding nitrogen fertilizer application.
