The variety is of Andean origin. Tubers are characterized by an oval or long-oval shape, reddish skin with light eyes or spots, and pale yellow flesh. The potato belongs to the mid-season maturity group (Maincrop).

The variety is distinguished by rapid cooking, requiring significantly less boiling time than most other varieties. It is recommended for frying, baking, and mashing.
