Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is mid-season and is the result of adapting wild potato species from the Andean foothills to temperate climate conditions. The plant is characterized by medium to high stem height. The tubers have an oval-elongated shape and an unusual marble skin color.

The variety has good resistance to common scab, powdery scab, blackleg, and mechanical damage during transport, and shows resistance to cracking. At the same time, the variety is susceptible to tuber late blight, dry rot, potato leafroll virus, and potato cyst nematode.

The tubers have a delicate creamy texture and an earthy taste. Due to a short dormancy period, the variety is not intended for long-term storage and is best suited for fresh consumption.
