The German variety Mirage belongs to the group of early varieties. It is a table potato with a firm flesh consistency when boiled.
The Russian variety Мираж is mid-season, with a growing period of 100–110 days. The plant is of medium height, semi-erect or spreading, and forms oval tubers with bright red smooth skin and light yellow flesh.
The Russian variety Мираж possesses resistance to potato wart and potato nematode, high resistance to common scab, as well as moderate resistance to late blight, rhizoctoniosis, and alternaria.
