The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Fryla and breeding number 17/6. The tubers are characterized by medium size and shallow eyes. The starch content in the flesh is 15–18 percent.
During culinary processing, the flesh does not darken after peeling and does not blacken during boiling. The variety possesses relatively high resistance to late blight Phytophthora infestans.
