Plants have medium to high height, growth habit from semi-erect to erect, thick stems with slight purple pigmentation. Flowers are blue-violet with white tips. Tubers are large and uniform, with smooth light-yellow skin, shallow eyes, and cream-colored flesh.
The variety possesses good drought tolerance and resistance to mechanical damage. Resistant to golden potato nematode (Ro1 and Ro4) and common scab, moderately resistant to late blight and leaf roll. It has been noted that the variety may be a poor host for the potato tuber moth.
The flesh is soft, floury, with high dry matter content. The variety is suitable for table use and processing, including crisp production, frying, and baking. Due to the long tuber dormancy period, pre-sprouting before planting is recommended.
