The variety was obtained as a result of breeding work using physical and chemical mutagenesis, begun in 1963. It belongs to the group of early varieties and is intended for table consumption.
The yield of the variety is estimated at 220 centners per hectare. The variety was used in scientific research for screening for resistance to scab and late blight.
Scientific literature notes that genetically the variety may be close to the initial breeding material, despite the presence of phenotypic differences caused by irradiation.
