The variety was obtained by crossing Delta and INRA 67.32.172. The tubers have an elongated shape and smooth yellow skin with very shallow eyes; the flesh is yellow. The variety is characterized by good yield and does not darken after boiling.
The plant is sensitive to late blight on leaves, but possesses relative resistance to tuber infection. The variety is moderately sensitive to common scab and virus Y, with no specific problems identified with viruses X and A. The variety is quite sensitive to mechanical damage.
