The plant is of an intermediate type, has medium height and an erect or semi-erect growth habit. Leaves are large and green. Tubers have an oval shape, smooth skin, and shallow eyes. Starch content varies from 11.5 to 15.6%; the variety is characterized by high marketability (80–98%) and good keeping quality (98%).
The variety is resistant to potato cyst nematode (pathotype Ro1), Globodera pallida, and potato wart disease. It shows moderate resistance to late blight. Good resistance is noted to common scab, dry rot (Fusarium coeruleum), and mop-top virus, which causes flesh spraing.
