The plant forms a tall stem with a low degree of pigmentation and bright violet flowers. The variety is distinguished by excellent keeping quality during storage and the absence of eye sprouting at harvest time.

The variety possesses resistance to diseases and also exhibits relative resistance or tolerance to the Colorado potato beetle.
