Potato variety Sensation is an early variety with a haulm height of about 54 cm. The plant forms a dense and thick canopy that closes quickly in rows. The tubers have a short oval shape, smooth yellow skin and shallow eyes; the flesh is also yellow in color.
The variety has resistance to common scab, virus Y, potato cyst nematode (PCN Ro1) and internal rust spot (Spraing). The variety is moderately susceptible to late blight of the haulm. It is a table variety with firm flesh that retains its shape during cooking, and is recommended for baking.
