The variety belongs to the mid-late group with a growing period of 98 to 106 days. Tubers have an oval-elongated shape and smooth yellow skin.
The plant possesses high resistance to Y virus (PVY) and potato wart (Synchytrium endobioticum), and shows medium resistance to potato leaf roll virus. Yields under trial conditions were 35–41 tons per hectare with a potential of up to 72 t/ha.
Temerar potato variety is intended for food consumption and possesses good culinary qualities.
