The variety was obtained through the hybridization of PONTO × CONCORDE. The plant is characterized by medium development and dense foliage. The tubers are oval-shaped with superficial eyes, yellow skin, and yellow flesh.

The starch content is about 16.0%. The variety is resistant to potato wart, PVY, golden potato cyst nematode (pathotype Ro1), and possesses high resistance to potato leafroll virus. It shows moderate susceptibility to late blight on leaves and tubers.
