The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Dore, Pimpernel, Falke and Aquila. It belongs to mid-early varieties. Tubers are large, oval-shaped, have bright red skin and deep yellow flesh.
The variety has high resistance to potato wart and good resistance to tuber late blight. It has low resistance to common scab and moderate resistance to foliage late blight. The dormancy period is medium, suitable for storage, however, it is prone to weight loss at high temperatures.
Table variety with good taste qualities. Due to its crumbly nature when boiled, it is recommended to cook it in its skin or on a rack. Suitable for making mashed potatoes, baking, and use in casseroles and pastries.
