The variety was obtained as a result of breeding work by the company VESA Velhartice a.s. Various sources point to its origin from a cross between the varieties Kamyk x Ausonia or Rosella x Paola. The purpose of the variety is for table use; it is also suitable for culinary purposes and processing.
The tubers are distinguished by smooth skin and light yellow flesh. The size of the tubers is small, and the yield is average. Starch content varies from 10.5% to 15.8%. The variety has good keeping quality during storage.
