The variety is early or early maincrop. Tubers have a round-oval shape, large size, smooth white or bright yellow skin, and shallow eyes. Tuber flesh is white or cream. The variety is intended for fresh consumption, has a low dry matter content, and maintains a firm texture when boiled.
The plant has a short dormancy period, which limits storage options. The variety was obtained by crossing UK90-60-27 and White Lady. Intensive weight gain is noted at the end of the season.
The variety is resistant to potato cyst nematode (Ro1 and Ro4), but susceptible to PCN Pallida. It shows moderate resistance to late blight of foliage and PVY. It is characterized by low susceptibility to common scab and tuber late blight, while being moderately susceptible to blackleg.
