The hybrid belongs to the category of sorghum-sudangrass hybrids. It is photoperiod-sensitive, which allows it to remain in the vegetative phase and not transition to heading when the daylight duration exceeds 12 hours and 20 minutes. This provides a flexible harvest window and stable forage quality throughout the season.

The plant contains the BMR-6 gene, which reduces the level of lignin in the stems, improving fiber digestibility and the nutritional value of the forage. The hybrid possesses resistance to sugarcane aphid due to Aphix technology. It is suitable for the production of hay, haylage, and livestock grazing in systems with one or multiple cuts per season.
