The Ballet F1 hybrid possesses light green leaves, which are less smooth in structure than those of a number of other varieties. Plant development is characterized by stability throughout the year and weak dependence on photoperiodic conditions.
The variety has been widely used in professional vegetable growing and the food industry, especially for freezing purposes. In scientific practice, it has been used for pest monitoring, the study of resistance to downy mildew, and the analysis of pigment composition during industrial processing.
