Spinach Boomslang RZ F1 belongs to the semi-savoy type with rounded green leaves. The plant habit is intermediate between upright and decumbent; the variety has a high development rate.

The plant has high resistance to downy mildew (races Pe:1-20), the fungal disease Stemphylium vesicarium, and Pythium. The variety is high-yielding and intended for baby-leaf production.

The crop is suitable for cultivation in open field and tunnels during the spring and autumn periods. In terms of characteristics, the variety is close to the Sunangel type, but has less pronounced leaf blistering.
