The variety is an F1 hybrid of the baby leaf type with semi-savoy, rounded, glossy leaves. The plant is characterized by high growth vigor in cool conditions and increased resistance to bolting. It is recommended for cultivation in the open field during late spring and early autumn.
The plant possesses high resistance (HR) to spinach downy mildew (Peronospora effusa) races 1–9, 11–18, 20 and intermediate resistance (IR) to race 10 of the same pathogen. The variety is also resistant to Stemphylium vesicarium.
