The variety is an open-pollinated (non-hybrid) spinach. The plant forms strong round-oval leaves, which are distinguished by a rich fresh-green color.

The plant is characterized by high winter hardiness and endurance. The variety flowers late, showing resistance to bolting, but it does not tolerate hot summer conditions well.
