The variety «High Pack» has been widely used in scientific experiments, in particular for the development of plant regeneration methods from callus tissue in vitro and in genetic transformation studies to create lines resistant to cucumber mosaic virus.
In scientific literature, the variety is also used as a model organism in the study of physiological processes, such as photosynthesis efficiency and nitrate accumulation. Data on field agronomic characteristics inherent to agricultural varieties are absent.
