ActiveSpinacia oleracea L. · Spinach
Monsanto Holland, NL
10 August 2026
The variety is a first-generation hybrid and reaches technical maturity in 42–50 days, with 'baby' leaf harvesting possible after 20–40 days. Plants form an upright rosette 20–35 cm in height. The leaves have a characteristic 'puckered' surface of the savoy or semi-savoy type, which provides them with volume and resistance to wilting.
The plant possesses high resistance to bolting and good resistance to diseases. The variety is intended for spring and summer sowings, suitable both for private gardening and market production. The leaves are used fresh, for preparing smoothies, and for culinary processing.
