The Tambourine F1 variety is characterized by a medium growth rate and is intended for sowing in transitional periods, including the summer season. The plant forms leaves with a characteristic slightly wrinkled texture.

The hybrid possesses genetic resistance to downy mildew (Peronospora farinosa f. sp. spinaciae), including races Pfs 1–13 and 15. The variety is used in industrial vegetable production and is often used as a standard when conducting comparative scientific trials.
