The variety belongs to the oriental type and is intended for professional cultivation with a view to harvesting in the autumn-winter and early winter seasons. The plant possesses a very high growth rate.

The plant habit is upright, which ensures ease of mechanized harvesting and bunching. The leaves have a dark green color.

The variety possesses high resistance to spinach downy mildew (Peronospora effusa) races 1–18 and 20. In technical documentation, it may appear under the breeding number PV-1714.
