The Thor F1 variety, also known as SP 2930, is an early hybrid with an upright habit, in which both the leaves and stems of the plant grow vertically. The leaf blades have a triangular pointed shape, a smooth surface, and a dark green color.

The hybrid is characterized by medium-late bolting, which ensures resistance to bolting and allows for extending the harvest period. The plant possesses high resistance (HR) to downy mildew (Peronospora farinosa f. sp. spinaciae) of the following races: 1, 3, 5, 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, and 16.
