The plant is a low-growing shrub 20–40 cm in height with a compact, flattened crown. The leaves are small, oval-pointed, smooth, and retain their golden-yellow hue throughout the season.
Flowering occurs from June to August on current-year shoots. Small light-pink flowers are gathered in small corymbose inflorescences 8–10 cm in diameter; the flowering itself is often non-intensive in nature.
The variety possesses frost resistance down to -34...-35°C and recovers quickly if damaged during severe winters. The plant is resistant to fungal diseases, but under adverse conditions, infection with gray mold or leaf spots is possible.
