Variety description

The shrub reaches a height of 0.6–0.8 m and has stiff upright branches. The leaves are elliptical or narrow-lanceolate, dark green in summer, changing color to yellow, orange, and red shades in autumn. The inflorescences are corymbose, up to 10 cm in diameter.

Flowering occurs on one-year-old wood from June to August, sometimes continuing until October. The variety is frost-resistant (down to -34 °C), light-loving, but tolerates partial shade, and is undemanding to soils. It is used in landscape design for creating hedges, mixed borders, group plantings, and for container cultivation.
