The variety is a low shrub 15–30 cm tall with a dense cushion-shaped crown 35–40 cm or more in diameter. The leaves are small, lanceolate, green, turning a red-purple shade in autumn.
The plant is characterized by weak flowering or its near total absence. Sparse flowers are small, pink in color, gathered in small corymbose inflorescences, appearing from June to September.
The variety prefers sunny locations but tolerates partial shade. It is undemanding to soils, growing well on neutral, fertile, and well-drained sites. It is used for creating low borders, decorating alpine slides and rock gardens.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
