Variety description

The plant is a shrub with a vase-shaped crown and arching branches, reaching 90–120 cm in height (sometimes up to 150 cm). During the summer, the bush blooms with small pink flowers.

The fruits are large, up to 13 mm in diameter, gathered in clusters of 8–12. The variety exhibits winter hardiness (USDA Zone 3), yet is susceptible to powdery mildew and leaf spot. The plant is prone to forming thickets due to root suckers.

The variety is used as an ornamental element in gardens and in the cut flower industry, where branches with fruits retain their marketability for about two weeks. The fruits are inedible and may cause discomfort if ingested.
