The variety is used as a fast-growing crop for annual summer sowing, cultivation as a catch crop, and as a main crop. It is valued as a good predecessor due to a pronounced taproot that promotes intensive soil aeration and leaves organic residues that contribute to humus accumulation.

The variety is characterized by rapid initial development, which allows it to grow actively and effectively suppress weeds. It is notable for its flexibility in use: it can be used for forage production or as green manure, including for the restoration of areas after winter-killed red clover crops. High nutritional value, palatability, and good digestibility of the forage are noted.
