The Horos variety is an annual legume adapted to a temperate climate, but having low resistance to negative temperatures.

The plant is used to obtain high-quality forage, often in mixtures with other grasses and legumes. Agrotechnical recommendations include a seeding rate of 30–40 kg/ha with the possibility of sowing in spring or autumn periods.
