The variety is a multi-cut crop used for obtaining green mass and hay. Under Mediterranean conditions, the variety allows for 3 to 6 cuts per season.

The plant possesses a certain resistance to frost, withstanding temperature drops down to –7°C. The crop is valued as high-quality forage and is suitable for use as a preceding crop in crop rotation.
