The Marmilla variety is an upright plant of medium or above-medium height. The crop is intended for green mass production, pasture use, and as a cover crop.
The plant possesses high resistance to major diseases and drought, however, it is sensitive to low temperatures and responsive to irrigation. Characteristic features of the variety are medium-late flowering and the presence of bicolored seeds.
